About Me

With over 25 years of experience in UK financial services, 15 of which have been served more latterly within the mortgage industry. I have a worked in a wide range of operational and multi discipline areas.

Currently I am the Managing Director of Premiss Consultancy Ltd. The main focus is on providing strategic solutions to banks, lenders and other financial institutions. This relates in the main to their mortgage business. I combine my consultancy work with Non-Executive responsibilities, having joined the Board of Beverley Building Society as a NED in January 2020. Recently I took on the Chair of Risk (SMF10) role in November 2020.

Before starting my own consultancy, I was the Managing Director for Secured Trust Bank’s Mortgage Business. Joining in January 2016 and building the business from the initial business case through to a growing portfolio. With full P&L responsibility and leading a self-recruited team, STB Mortgages quickly became a recognised challenger in the specialist lending space.

Between March 2006 and December 2015, I worked with Kensington Mortgages. Key roles included the MD / Commercial Director responsible for Originations (Sales, Product Development and Marketing) and Post-completion administration and collections, including the relationship with their Third Party Administrator material outsourcer. I was also a main Board member of both Kensington Mortgages and its subsidiary Start Mortgages in Ireland. I spent two years located in Dublin leading the Start team.

Prior to Kensington my career was spent with HSBC & HFC (Household International) leading analytics teams across the UK covering Credit Risk, Marketing and Product & Pricing Development.
